Childhood is the golden period in our life, because it’s only then that we experience sheer enjoyment. However, this does not mean that children are spared from feeling sadness, for example. But this is something we all have to learn how to accept and live with, happily.
As parents, we are sure you feel the need to focus on raising your child into a happy adult. Luckily, the science has evolved so much lately, and it has provided us with tools to hard wire our child’s mind for happiness. You can actually train your child’s brain for happiness.
And the simplest way for ANYONE to start enjoying happiness is to practice GRATITUDE. Being grateful means to be thankful for the things we already have in our lives – big or small. Tests have shown that the happiness can be physically measured 4 weeks later after just 1 week of practicing gratitude.
This course, with a duration of 3 weeks, is here to offer the basic tools that you, as a parent, need to use to prepare your kid for happiness. We will dedicate 1 week to gratitude and the other 2 weeks to two other activities (e.g. kindness, sports, socialising etc.) meant to make anyone feel happy.
But what are the things that make YOUR kid happy? You can find this out anytime by taking the VIA Survey of Character Strengths (designed specifically for kids and teens). Then, at the end of the program, based on your VIA survey results, you will receive suggestions of activities meant to make YOUR kid flourish.
